One thing about me is that I love wine. Red, white, or sparkling, I’ll drink it. But let’s be real though, wine tasting does get pricey especially when you’re hopping from one winery to another. Luckily, my hubby Eddie surprised me with a 1-year Priority Wine Pass Membership for my birthday and I was excited. I was surprised at how many wineries this pass gets accepted to - from Temecula, Sonma, Napa and most of the western U.S. The pass gives you VIP perks, discounts, and sometimes free tastings.
Since Eddie bought it 2 weeks before my birthday, the physical card didn’t come in on time BUT the wineries still accepted the digital card on my phone. Before we went to my birthday trip to Temecula, CA, Eddie had to call each of the wineries to check if reservations were needed or walk-ins were okay since we were staying Sunday to Tuesday. Sunday was a tricky day since there are some wineries that don’t offer discounted wine tasting on weekends. It’s great thing that Priority Wine Pass does post all the wineries and their deals on their website, you can click my affiliate link here Priority Wine Pass Website to read more details.

Winery #1: Wiens Family Cellars
Location: 35055 Via Del Ponte, Temecula, CA 92592
Wiens Family Cellars had a 2-for-1 tasting deal with Priority Wine Pass. Who doesn’t love a great deal? Surprisingly we were able to walk-in since it was towards the end of the day (but make sure to call, we just got lucky), showed our digital pass at the cashier, and they handed us a wine tasting card. Easy, fast, and super affordable.
I loved the vibes, sophisticated but yet really cozy. We were able to grab a seat at the tasting bar, front and center, while the sommelier walked us through the wines. He asked us about our taste preferences, sweet, dry, bold, or smooth. We mixing and matching between reds and whites and the pours were pretty hefty for a tasting. Since it was a weekend, there was live music we were able to listen to outside in their patio area after. Great way to end the day.
Winery #2: Danza del Sol Winery
Location: 39050 De Portola Rd, Temecula, CA 92592
The next day, Monday my birthday day, we headed over to Danza del Sol Winery for another 2-for-1 deal PLUS 10% off bottle purchases with Priority Wine Pass. And yes, we did leave with 2 bottles, 1 red for Eddie and 1 white for me.
Danza del Sol has a warm and rustic charm, making it the perfect spot to relax and sip wine. Since it was a weekday, we were able to walk-in without a reservation. The process was simple as can be, showed the cashier my digital card and received our tasting cards. The sommeliers were so friendly and informative, helping us through the wines and answering our questions. By the time we were finished, I knew which wine bottle I wanted to take home. I just had to remind the cashier about the Priority Wine Pass bottle discount, quick and easy transaction. I just love a great deal.
